Eksperimen Penerapan Formulir Satu Halaman dan Multi-Halaman, Infinite Scrolling dan Pagination Pages, serta Modal dan Nonmodal Dialog

Pinky Guard adalah waralaba bengkel perawatan dan salah satu cabangnya berada di Kota Cilegon. Di dalamnya, manajemen usaha dibentuk mandiri oleh pemilik dan salah satu turunannya adalah proses administrasi berupa pencatatan, pencarian, dan pembaruan data pelanggan. Namun, terdapat permasalahan pada proses administrasi yang masih membutuhkan waktu lama. Berdasarkan konteks tersebut, dirancang pengalaman pengguna berbentuk prototipe website dari enam mekanisme yang dianggap dapat membantu mempercepat proses administrasi. Formulir satu halaman dan formulir multi-halaman, infinite scrolling dan pagination pages, serta modal dialog dan nonmodal dialog adalah enam mekanisme tersebut yang didapat dari studi literatur. Kemudian, mekanisme-mekanisme tersebut dirancang dari mulai wireframe, mockup, hingga prototipe. Proses pengujian dilakukan secara langsung dan moderated terhadap satu orang responden (100% populasi) untuk menguji variabel task completion time menggunakan metode split testing. Penelitian ini dapat mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan waktu antara masing-masing mekanisme. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa formulir multi-halaman memiliki waktu yang lebih sedikit dibanding formulir satu halaman, infinite scrolling memiliki waktu yang lebih sedikit dibanding pagination pages, dan nonmodal dialog memiliki waktu yang lebih sedikit dibanding modal dialog.
