Abstrak

Vehicle monitoring and tracking system bertujuan sebuah sistem yang dibuat dengan tujuan untuk memantau dan memonitoring kendaraan yang melakukan pergerakan dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya yang berguna dalam memberikan keamanan dan keselamatan. Roganda Rental Motorbike masih menggunakan metode konvensional dengan jaminan KTP/Passport dan nomor telepon, yang rentan terhadap pencurian. Penelitian ini mengembangkan prototipe sistem monitoring sepeda motor dengan perangkat IoT dan modul GPS yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi Android. Metode waterfall digunakan, meliputi analisis kebutuhan sistem, desain, implementasi, integrasi, dan pengujian. Implementasi aplikasi menggunakan Kotlin, dan perangkat IoT menggunakan microcontroller ESP32 dengan modul GPS GY-NEO6MV2 diprogram dengan C++. Pengujian akurasi lokasi perangkat IoT dibandingkan dengan smartphone menggunakan aplikasi GPS Test menunjukkan akurasi sekitar ±6.4m. Pengujian efektivitas sistem aplikasi dilakukan dengan user acceptance testing, validasi fungsi sesuai proses bisnis, dan wawancara untuk mengevaluasi pengalaman pengguna sebelum dan sesudah sistem diterapkan. Hasilnya, sistem memenuhi persyaratan fungsional yang dibutuhkan oleh Roganda Rental Motorbike dan meningkatkan efektifitas dalam kontrol monitoring serta keamanan secara signifikan.
